Summer Camp 6W

What to bring to Summer Camp?

During our childrens Summer Camp the children should wear comfortable casual clothes: tracksuits, shorts, t-shirts, runners etc. Keep in mind that the children will be painting and cooking so their clothes may become dirty, don’t send them in their best gear!! The children will be playing many games every day in our childrens summer camps and runners rather than sandals or shoes are more suitable.

If the weather is good we ask all parents to apply Sun Screen to their children before sending them to Camp; also please put a bottle of Sun Screen in their bag and a member of staff will reapply it if necessary. If it is raining please ensure your child has a rain jacket. All jackets/sweatshirts/bags should be clearly labelled with your child’s name.

Every Wednesday during our childrens’ Summer Camp we go swimming. Your child will require: togs, swim hat, towel, goggles and armbands (if necessary).

Everyday your child will need a snack for morning break and a packed lunch, which should include sandwiches/crackers/fruit/yoghurts and 2 drinks. In our experience in running previous childrens Summer Camps, the children require a substantial lunch as they can develop a good appetite due to being very active during the day.
